Are you an independent contractor looking for investigative work with a well respected trans-Tasman company paying above standard industry rates? In line with our recent expansion into New Zealand, we are recruiting subcontract investigators with a strong background in factual investigation, specifically Code of Conduct investigations. Ideal candidates will have;

  • Experience in conducting complex investigations within a corporate setting
  • Thorough knowledge and ability to practically apply law and procedure
  • Critical analysis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Adaptability to change
  • Information gathering/Investigative skills
  • Ability to think objectively
  • Ability to identify key issues and resolve problems
  • Ability to manage own time effectively and work independently
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and standards
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to remain professional in interactions with a variety of stakeholders and in a variety of difficult situations
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to quickly grasp new information technology systems and database
  • Private Investigator’s licence
  • Ability to travel at short notice

The successful applicant will be a person of integrity with a meticulous approach and excellent interpersonal skills who has a demonstrated background in code of conduct investigations. Must have a private inquiry licence and have the appropriate insurances.

We are a newly established in New Zealand and are looking for people who can help us build our reputation through high standards of integrity, customer service, and quality reporting.
